Freshwater Organics pledges to donate ½ of all September sales to Ron Paul campaign
"We are hopeful that this fund-raising promotion will help create awareness for Ron Paul -- the Republican Presidential candidate from Texas, and that the fund raising idea will spread to other on line stores".- Fran Tully
Salt Lake City, UT, September 4, 2007: In an effort to help create awareness and raise money for the Ron Paul presidential campaign, Freshwater Organics has pledged to give 50% of all September sales to the Ron Paul campaign. Freshwater Organics (www.freshwaterorganics.com ) is the Utah based distributor of Perma-Guard food-grade, organic, Diatomaceous Earth products. Fran Tully, owner of Freshwater Organics, hatched the idea for the fund raiser when he was watching Ron Paul videos on YouTube. “It occurred to me that Ron Paul and my products have a lot in common”, said Tully. “Both Paul and diatomaceous earth (DE) were virtually unknown by most of America; And both DE and Ron Paul have had sudden busts of popularity due widely to word of mouth and the assistance of the Internet. Once people learn about them, they wonder why more people haven’t heard about this, and then word of mouth helps raise awareness as friends tell friends about their great new discovery.”
Freshwater Organic’s customer base is made up of folks from all walks of life. About the only thing that they all have in common is that they are all free-thinking people who are looking for an alternative to how things have always been done. “For over 30 years, the government has tried to run us out of business with over-regulation, exorbitant fees, and by not allowing us to tell people what our products can do. They even force us to put frightening labeling on some of our packaging, despite the government’s own tests showing that our products are as safe as spring water. Our customers totally understand that the government has been trying to get rid of us, but thanks to our customers, their testimonials and word of mouth, we are now selling more product all over the world than ever before.”
Tully continues, “it is exactly the same with the Ron Paul campaign. Our current government doesn’t want you to know about Ron Paul because if he gets elected, the party is over. As soon as people hear about what he has to offer, they want more and want everyone they know to hear about him as well. But there are a lot of people out there who will go to great lengths to see that his message is stifled and that he remains out of the main stream media. But when something is good, and it’s time has come - be it Ron Paul or diatomaceous earth - the people will see that the message is spread. It has been like that throughout the history of this country. Thanks to the Internet, a small handful of unconscionable people can no longer dictate what people believe, eat, drink, think, or how they vote.”
Freshwater Organics sells organic products that are based on food-grade diatomaceous earth – which is made from the fossilized remains of diatoms. Diatoms are one celled plants that are the water-based equivalent of grass. Their products are 79% natural silica and are used as anti-caking agents, desiccants, feed additives for chickens, horses, cows, pigs, pets, and other livestock to eliminate parasites, odors, and flies.
According to Tully, “over the past two years, the largest growth in our business has been DE for human consumption. After seeing the affects of our products on their animals, people have started using our products themselves. They claim relief of dozens of maladies ranging from parasites to arthritis, and the list is growing all the time. We also have a growing number of people using it in their grain storage, to keep grain bug free indefinitely. The other big burst in sales is in our insecticide products. Not only have they proven to be the absolute best solution for bed bugs, which has now made resurgence after being gone for nearly 50 years, but they are also safe on pets as young as 2 days old and can be used in organic gardening and applied even up to the day of harvesting.”
Tully hopes that their promotion to raise a donation for Ron Paul inspires other businesses to act similarly. “It is not easy to donate such a large part of sales to a political campaign, but I honestly believe that Ron Paul may be our last hope of returning some of the freedoms that have been stolen from us by self-serving politicians over the years. In the last decade we have lost more freedom, incurred more debt, and seen greater inflation than I ever before in American history. Ron Paul’s voting record and integrity are something that any business person will find refreshing. Ron Paul’s presidency would be the best thing that ever happened to the American entrepreneur.” Freshwater Organics has set up a special web page with details about the promotion at http://freshwaterorganics.com/specials.html
